Kindergarten registration is scheduled!

The Indiana Area School District will conduct Kindergarten registration for the 2020-21 school year on May 4, 5, 6, and 7.  Children must be five (5) years old by August 31, 2020, in order to enroll for Kindergarten.  
 
Registration packets will be available for parents to pick up at Ben Franklin and East Pike Elementary Schools during regular school hours.  Additionally, all of the necessary forms are attached below.  
 
Parents are reminded to bring a copy of their child's birth certificate, child's record of immunizations, photo ID, and proof of residency (driver's license, etc.) to registration.  Parents are also asked to bring their child with 6them during registration so that speech screenings, etc. can be given.  Vision screenings will be conducted in the fall for all kindergarten students.  
 
All kindergarten students will attend school at either Ben Franklin or East Pike, depending on the place of residency.  Please call the respective school to schedule an appointment to register on the following days:

Orientation
We will offer an orientation for parents on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 6:30 pm to be held at their child's school.  This orientation is specifically designed for parents and guardians.  All incoming kindergarten students will be invited to attend school on May 8, 2020, from 1:30 - 3:30 pm to meet with teachers and tour the school.
