Indiana Area Senior High School students received $1,050.00 in grant money for their new BotsIQ Combat Robotics program. The funds were made possible by the EDA Build Back Better Grant.   Thank you to Jennifer Lasser at Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission for making this possible. 

The Combat Robotics course is a year-long commitment by students to Design, Build, Produce, Test, and Analyze to manufacture two 15-pound Combat Fighting Bots for this season. The students in this course will work to meet deadlines, conduct research and develop ideas, as they experience various hands-on practices such as: mechanical / electrical engineering, career readiness, manufacturing / fabrication, and participate in field trips to local manufacturing facilities.  Please look forward to helping cheer them on during the competition finals on April 9th and 10th, 2027.
